He doesn’t actually win points for persistence, does he? That sounds like he’s a Stalky McStalkerson.

I need to do some back-reading. Crap. I mean, yay, cuz I love reading you, but crap cuz I’m out of touch.

Eh, Stalky McStalkerson would be much creepier. He’s polite but persistent. He wins minor points for follow through since I find it’s rare these days. But he loses them for not getting a clue. I just didn’t say that.

Yes, “another jane” it is… it is the religious thing.

Here is how I would have written it…

“Dear Creepy Crape, I want to be straight with you… you need help. Not psychiatric help, but more simply you need a man to tell you how to be a man.

Glad you got a job and you moved out of your mom’s basement, that should certainly help. Try to put some meat on those bones. And whatever you do… don’t ever tell a girl your on a date with, that its the best date you’ve had in years. TMI. Some things are best just left unsaid.

And it wouldn’t hurt if you spoke up a little. Thanks for dinner, but no thanks. Get my drift? Good luck, PEACE.”

Well, I’m glad you’ve never had to reject me. That’s a little harsh.

So I wonder if it’s the religious thing, because I have a very similar story from the land of bizarre-o guys. Years ago, this guy who used to hang out with me a lot asked me out and I said I wasn’t interested in that way. He became a pastor, I didn’t speak to him for a full year, and exactly one year later (I mean exactly, to the day), he dropped by to tell me that he wanted to be with me. We had literally had no contact for a year.

I’m not even sure what to say to that!
