Here’s a hint. If you are closer in age to my father than you are to me? I’m not going to date you.
My stated age range on match.com is 27-40. If you are 53? You are well outside that range. Sending me a wink won’t change my mind. Seriously.
Get a clue.

Amen and amen! I get many older men messaging me online. The most recent was in his 60’s and I’m just like hello you’re old enough to be my dad.
That right there is a hard and fast rule. If you could have been part of my creation? You are undateable.
Haha. That’s classic. I’ve had that happen to me as well. So tell me, out of curiosity…what’s the biggest gap in age you would consider?

Things would be much easier if they would follow the age ranges,it is there for a reason! How would the guy feel if he would ever meet my son and he calls him “pap”? Point made… closer to my dads age is NUTS!!!!
Exactly. That kind of age gap causes issues as you move into different stages of life without each other. I’ve seen it too many times. Not going there.
I always found amazing that no matter how clearly I spelled out what I was looking for in a mate, the guys that “winked” at me clearly NEVER took the time to do anything more than look at my pictures. I mean I know I am good looking but umm…seriously.;)
Face it. When they’re looking at chicks that much younger than them, we’re all McHotties. Still no excuse!
Seriously, a clue is totally needed. And it swings around. I do not want a 22 year old sending me a wink either. I’m already a mom, don’t need to be again.

I actually had so many men who were my parents age and OLDER messaging me on Yahoo peronsals that I added this addendum at the end of my profile!!

Isn’t it sad when this becomes necessary? There are so few honest unbreakable rules I have, but the age thing is one of them. I’ve seen too many relationships have serious trouble when age rules are not observed.
