Time to lighten up.
The last email I got on an online dating site? Was from a 19 year old. I am 30. What was he thinking? How could I seriously date a guy who couldn’t go out for a drink with me?
My guess is he was angling for beer. But whatever.

I got an email from a 23 year old (I’m 31) and he said “I know I’m younger than what you’re looking for, but I’m very mature for my age.” He was still in college, still lived at home, and had never had a “real job.” How mature could he possibly be???
Ooof, I’m not a cougar and I can’t date a teenager. Seriously. A teenager!
And perhaps that 23 year old was wise in the ways of the world. After all, if you could get someone else to pay all your bills while you played around in school, wouldn’t you?
Okay, maybe not. But at least he could buy his own beer!
